The ITO vacuum magnetron sputtering coating process is used to prepare the ITO coating for infrared reflection and develop a kind of sun-shading insulation tempered side windshields with high heat insulation rate. This product has smooth and compact coating with hardness up to 9H (pencil hardness > 7H), and has the properties of high transmittance, high heat insulation and low radiation so that the solar infrared rejection can reach 70-90% when the solar visible light transmittance is >50%, significantly reducing direct solar radiation and burning sensation in summer; with low emissivity of about 0.16 (ordinary glass: 0.84), the product has the function of preventing the heat in the vehicle from flowing out to achieve heat insulation in winter. If sun-shading insulation glass is used for the side windshield of the whole vehicle, the operating load of the air conditioner can be reduced effectively to realize the energy conservation of the vehicle.
